Health Healing Well-Being

Our approach to health is unique. See how we can help.

Consult with a BIO-STRUCTURAL Corrective Chiropractor and get help solving your health problem right now! Even when nothing else has helped.

At Lakeside Spine and Wellness in Renton WA we help our patients by detecting and correcting core problems with the spine and nervous system that disrupt the natural flow of energy between the brain and the body. Western medicine's focus and expertise is on the suppression and treatment of symptoms, sickness, and disease. Medicine is excellent at what it does and particularly shines in emergency situations when the limitations of the body's ability to heal have been surpassed. Like other natural healing arts, chiropractic's true focus and expertise is on promoting and enhancing health, healing, and well-being from within. Chiropractic is not a treatment of symptoms, sickness, or disease. While traditional chiropractic is very effective at improving spinal motion and reducing pain and other symptoms, bio-structural corrective chiropractic clears the neuro-spinal pathway to allow the energy that flows through the nervous system to flow more freely throughout the body. In most instances, we are a witness to amazing healing results. If corrections are made properly, the neurology and physiology of the body are better off, and with time, nature, and patience the body will repair and heal itself.

The most common symptoms of spine and nervous system issues are headaches, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain and pain, weakness, numbness, and/or tingling in the extremities. Other symptoms may include anxiety, depression, memory loss, dizziness, loss of balance, insomnia, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure, difficulty breathing, fatigue,  indigestion, abnormal bowel and reproductive function. The spine houses and protects the nervous system (the master control system of the body). Spine problems can affect the function of the nervous system. This then can alter the function of any of the cells, tissues, organs, and systems of the body.

It is vital for our health to have an optimal functioning spine and nervous system. With over two decades of experience and specialty certifications in spine rehabilitation and posture correction, Dr. Winger knows a thing or two about spine-related health problems. We would be honored to be on your healthcare team.

What kind of training does a chiropractor have?

In order to become a chiropractor, one must complete a minimum of four years at an accredited chiropractic institution. Before being able to attend chiropractic school, it is required to have an undergraduate degree in basic science or a number of years of experience in a different but relevant health profession.

Students working through the program to become chiropractors must log at least 4,200 hours in the classroom and also must, at minimum, undergo 1,000 hours of supervised training in a clinic. These supervised hours are used to teach how to diagnose specific conditions and what techniques to use in order to bring the body back to its full potential.

Our team at Lakeside Spine and Wellness is dedicated to helping you reach optimal health and we look forward to meeting with you in order to design a personalized plan that meets your needs.
